Good post. I&#039;m always reassured when I encounter others whose approach to professional development mirrors my own. 

I especially agree with your thoughts on blogging, however I have encountered a few podcasts that have been worthwhile, even if I don&#039;t listen on a regular basis.

As for Facebook, I believe MacLeod is right. Maybe your kids don&#039;t want to have to ignore your friend request ;)
